For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

Matt. 7,8

No one would deny the truth will make us free, even less when it comes to restoring the mental health of a patient.

However, many people searching for the knowledge to help them come up empty-handed. There are plenty of reasons for this, but one thing is certain, it’s not because no one has ever integrated the wisdom of the Gospel with the truths we can grasp through reason alone.

There are many books out there, but they are out of reach.

If you’re a Catholic mental health professional searching for the right resources to help your patients, you’re not alone. Like many others, we have come to the tough realization that secular psychology often falls short, and to make things worse, most books that offer an integral vision of the person have stopped being published.

This is why we founded Tradere House Press, a publishing house mainly focused on putting back in the hands of students, practitioners, pastoral caregivers, and researchers those books firmly rooted in the principles of the perennial philosophy and the teachings of the magisterium of the church.

The question that set us in motion to unleash the potential of Classics.

Come andaré avanti?

While sharing a glass of wine with his friends and some of the speakers he heard during the 5th International Conference on Integral Psychology of the Person, Nicolás Eyzaguirre –our founder– felt compelled by the question posed by Stefano Parenti –director of the Associazione di Psicologia Cattolica–, when, after carrying out a general assessment of the program, he asked in a conciliatory tone: “Come andaré avanti?” (How to move forward?).

Many responses were heard that day, such as the thought of Juan Pablo Rojas -director of Fundación Raíz Humana-. He remarked that books “make school,” meaning that the ideas of groups that meet to discuss human problems acquire consistency through publication, stand the test of time, and reach a wider audience.

At that moment, he was thinking about the books they could write together in the future. But Nicolás took it a step further. He started imagining a publishing house that would bring those books to life, along with the many that came before them, addressing a problem he had faced firsthand: the struggle to complement his training with the wisdom of theologians, philosophers, psychologists, and psychiatrists who strove to understand human nature in vital union with the Catholic faith.

With your help, we

can make it happen.

When you make a donation to Tradere House Press, you are making available the knowledge sought by those who want to harmonize faith and reason, with the ultimate aim of helping their patients, advancing their studies and research, and guiding souls in their search for holiness.
